Delivered at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, this project involved a full refurbishment of flooring, bathroom facilities, and kitchenette areas to provide a safe, hygienic, and improved learning environment for students. Following an intrusive survey, including damp readings, the existing floor coverings and subfloor were removed, timber noggins and insulation replaced where necessary, and a new moisture-resistant subfloor laid throughout the unit. The works included the installation of new bathroom suites fully clad with hygienic wall panels, with new toilets, sinks, and accessories, including the conversion of one suite into a disabled toilet with a Doc M pack to meet accessibility standards, as well as new kitchenettes fitted with lockable doors for student safety. New flooring was laid throughout, complemented by decorative works to improve the aesthetic appearance of the spaces, with finishing touches including a new radiator, decoration of external woodwork, and minor building works to complete the upgrade.
