A Design & Build project for Yorkshire Cancer Research valued at £60,000 we provided all Site, Project and H&S Management for this bespoke design and build store. The 15th store in the Yorkshire Cancer Research portfolio and PJ Interiors 4th store for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Nestled in Halifax between the amazing Peace Hall and the Woollen Mills we're very proud to have delivered this for our Clients.

Client Objectives

The client required a delivery partner who could:

  • Provide a single point of responsibility through a full turnkey Design & Build contract
  • Execute fast-track store deliveries with a consistent 5-week turnaround per site
  • Maintain a high standard of finish and brand consistency across locations
  • Manage design development, M&E integration, and joinery fabrication in-house for full control of quality and scheduling

Scope of Works

  • Full Design & Build management
  • Manufacture of bespoke joinery shelving
  • Full M&E coordination, including lighting, HVAC, and power systems
  • Installation of all internal elements including ceilings, walls, floors, and furniture
  • Project management, health & safety, and site supervision throughout

  • Live environments: The store is located within a trading high street, requiring noise and access to be carefully managed
  • M&E integration: Fitting complex services into compact layouts while maintaining aesthetic standards
